Science at Genie covers everything from PSLE Science right through O-Level Pure Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Classes are capped at 10. The focus is on the skill that decides marks at every level — writing OEQs that score.
Two children with identical content knowledge can be 5 marks apart on the same paper because one knows the Claim-Evidence-Reasoning (CER) structure and the keyword discipline that comes with it. We teach the structure, drill the keywords, and mark every weekly paper individually so the feedback is specific to your child's habits — not generic.

Claim, Evidence, Reasoning — the structure that maps to how PSLE and O-Level markers award marks. Most students gain 4-8 marks per OEQ section just by switching to this structure.
PSLE Science has ~15-20 keyword-bearing topics; O-Level Sciences have more. We drill recall, not recognition. Without the right keyword, even correct reasoning loses marks.

Almost always OEQ technique — answers that don't use the right keywords or aren't structured with Claim-Evidence-Reasoning. Marker schemes are keyword-driven; correct reasoning without the keywords scores low. Switching to CER structure typically recovers 4-8 marks per OEQ section.
Same core structure (claim, evidence, reasoning) but O-Level adds longer multi-part questions, more quantitative reasoning in Physics and Chemistry, and stricter keyword definitions in Biology. We have free explainers for both levels on the site.
Both. Most Combined students take Phy/Chem or Bio/Chem combinations — we run both at this branch. Pure Physics, Pure Chemistry, and Pure Biology all run as separate weekly classes.
