Genie Education Hub Bukit Batok has been the small-class tuition centre families in Bukit Batok, Hillview, Bukit Gombak, Bukit Panjang and Choa Chu Kang have stayed with since 2018. Two paired rooms in Blk 265 East Ave 4 — larger room caps at 10, smaller at 6 — with HDB parking out front and a short walk from Bukit Batok MRT.
Math classes at Genie are concept-first, capped at 10 students per class, and follow the MOE syllabus through every level — Primary 4 model drawing all the way to JC H2 Math derivatives. The point is to make sure your child understands what they're doing, not just memorises a method.
The two phrases we hear from Math parents are: "He keeps making careless mistakes" and "She freezes on word problems." Both have specific fixes — process habits for the first, comprehension scaffolds (bar models, then algebra) for the second. Neither is fixed by doing more worksheets. Our small classes mean every paper is marked by name with individual feedback within the week.
All Math programs below run at the Bukit Batok branch. Tap any tile for the live timetable, fees and methodology.
Primary students learn bar models as a translation tool. Sec 1 students bridge to algebraic methods on the same problems — side by side — so the transition is gradual, not a cold switch.
Write every step. Box the answer. Re-read the question. Check units. The drills look boring. They recover ~5-10 marks per paper within a term.
Every student attempts at least one paper per week under timed conditions. Returned the same week with markup, not just a score.
"Small class size really matters. My child went from struggling silently in his old centre to actually asking questions in class within a month."
Pulled from our Bukit Batok Google reviews — refreshed every few hours. No cherry-picking.
We teach Math from Primary 4 all the way through Junior College H2 Math (A-Level). All Primary Math, Lower Secondary G3/G2, Upper Secondary E Math, A Math, N-Level E Math, and JC H2 Math are running classes at this branch.
Capped at 10 students. Some lower-secondary slots are even smaller (6 per class) in our paired smaller room. Every child's paper is marked by name.
Yes — careless mistakes are the most common reason we get parent enquiries. The fix is structural (process habits + checking routines), not motivational. Most students recover 5-10 marks per paper within a term.
Yes — all of them. Different slots in the timetable, but the same teachers and the same small-class format across levels.
Tell us a few things and we'll continue on WhatsApp to confirm a slot at the Bukit Batok branch.
