Updated 20 September 2026: we have added optional Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session replays. Recording starts only if you choose to allow it. You can change that choice using Replay preferences.

1. Who we are

Genie Education Hub is a small-class Math & Science tuition centre operating in Singapore, with branches at Bukit Batok (Blk 265 Bukit Batok East Ave 4 #01-393) and Yishun (417 Yishun Ave 11 #01-339). This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our enquiry channels, how we use it, and your rights under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

2. What information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to enquiries and run classes. That means:

• Free-trial form data — parent name, phone / WhatsApp number, preferred branch, the level or subject you're asking about, and any optional notes you choose to add.
• Enrolment records — for students who join a class: student name, level, school, parent contact, attendance and assessment outcomes.
• Analytics cookies — basic page-view and traffic-source data via Google Analytics, to understand which pages parents find useful.
• Optional session replay — if you allow it, Microsoft Clarity collects website interactions such as clicks, scrolling, page visits and device/browser information to produce heatmaps and reconstructed replays. Form entries are masked.
• No payment data — fees are paid in person at the branch. We do not store credit card or bank details on this website.

3. How we use your information

We use what you give us to:

• Confirm trial bookings, usually over WhatsApp.
• Send you class details, schedules and post-trial feedback.
• Track student progress internally — Weekly Assignment outcomes, attendance, topic mastery — so teachers can run the class properly.
• Improve the website and the way we explain our programs.

We don't send marketing newsletters. If we contact you, it's because you asked us to, or because something is happening with your child's class.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. Genie's staff use enquiry and enrolment information on a need-to-know basis. The services below also handle data for the purposes described; Microsoft may use the website data it receives for its own advertising purposes.

• WhatsApp (Meta) — when we reply to your booking enquiry, your number is used inside WhatsApp under their own privacy terms.
• Google Analytics & Google Ads — site-usage and conversion data, used only to understand which pages and campaigns lead parents to enquire. We do not use Google's data for retargeting or audience-building.
• Microsoft Clarity — when you allow replay, Microsoft receives website usage data for heatmaps and session replays. Microsoft acts as an independent controller and may use collected personal data to provide Microsoft Advertising, improve its services and create advertising profiles. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• Netlify — our website host; booking-form submissions pass through Netlify Forms before reaching us.

5. Your rights under PDPA

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold on you or your child.
• Correct any data that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Withdraw your consent at any time — for marketing or for ongoing communication.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@genieeduhub.com. We aim to respond within 7 working days.

6. Cookies & tracking

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure how parents find and use our pages — which program pages get the most visits, whether the booking form converts, and which ad campaigns send useful traffic. We do not run Facebook or TikTok retargeting pixels. Optional Microsoft Clarity recording is described below.

Google Analytics also measures whether the replay prompt is shown, the choice made, and whether visitors continue browsing or start the enquiry form. This is separate from optional Clarity recording: declining replay does not disable Google Analytics. Form entries are not included in these prompt-interaction events.

Optional heatmaps and session replay

Choose Allow replay or Decline in the website prompt. Clarity is not loaded before you allow it. If allowed, it uses analytics cookies to link interactions across pages. We send Microsoft a denied signal for advertising storage; Microsoft's data-use terms still apply as described above. We do not send form entries or personal identifiers as custom replay events.

Your replay choice is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. Use Replay preferences in the footer to change it. Turning replay off reloads the page to unload the recorder, so finish any enquiry first. This choice controls Clarity only; the existing Google Analytics and Google Ads tracking are separate.

You can disable cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to any of the content on this site.

7. Data retention

We keep data only as long as we reasonably need it:

• Free-trial enquiries — kept for 12 months unless the student enrols in a class. After that, we delete the contact record.
• Enrolment records — kept while the student is with us, plus a reasonable period afterwards as required by Singapore law and standard tuition-centre record-keeping.
• Google Analytics data — retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
• Clarity recordings — normally available for 30 days; selected or favourited recordings can remain available for up to 9 months under Clarity's retention rules.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and update the date below. Material changes (for example, if we ever started using a new third-party service) will be flagged on the page so you know to re-read it.
